Walt Hamblin is an easy going modern cowboy that works for the Libby, Montana Sheriff's Office. On his days off he enjoys horseback riding in the mountains and on this particular trip he stumbles onto a dead body lying on top of Henry's Peak. Special Agent Sam Davis arrives and creates a stir within the Sheriff's Office and Walt has to work with the agent to solve the case.
