We live on a planet that is shared by other beings and supports us all. As such we should act like it, and treat one another accordingly with love and respect.

We are at the pinnacle of that living global community. Scripture teaches, "To whom much is given, much is required." Thus, we have a responsibility to protect and defend our brethren creatures on this earth. And it goes beyond even that. It is a sacred commission that we are charged with to do so.

We need to rediscover a spirituality of equanimity and solidarity between humanity and all creation, surrendering and daring everything for "Goodness" sake.

I believe that the animals that grace our lives are but a tiny reflection and example of God's unconditional love. It is my sincere hope that these chapters and lessons will help to fill you with that awareness, that wisdom, that knowing...and be a blessing to you...
