This book contains the collected publications of Shinya Inoue, pioneering cell biophysicist and winner of the 2003 International Prize for Biology. It contains articles that portray the historic and fundamental attributes of the dynamic molecular filaments which are essential for cell division as well as the methods of their study directly in living cells.
