Banking industry is in deep waters all around the§world. In Finland, the banking business suffered from§a serious crisis at the beginning of 1990's. There§are several issues in the Finnish banking crisis and§in the development of the industry after the crisis§that we can learn and study for the current financial§situation. This book describes the development of the§banking industry in Finland since 1986, then analyses§the development of banking partnerships, and§concludes by applying the findings about partnership§development to the banking industry in order to§increase our understanding of the industry§development, especially of the development of the§nature and structure of a typical banking firm.
