The 'Wise Woman', alternatively dismissed as a charlatan or cursed as a 'she-devil', outsmarts gullible citizens and rakish gentlemen alike as the action moves through the colourful 'variety and rarity' of Cheapside and the Exchange to its festive conclusion in Hoxton.
