Every year, thousands of tons of cargo and millions of passengers are carried on intercontinental routes, by air transport also. At the same time, about half of the countries in the world are currently unstable, due to major risks in terms of the outbreak of social unrest or even civil war and the collapse of a state. Many of these countries are already considered to be fallen, with crime, corruption and, often, terrorism and piracy prevalent in their territory.
