The development of the lexical competence is a central issue in TEFL which includes building vocabulary, knowing the form, the meaning, its usage and ways of achieving it. Speaking about the development of the lexical competences, we shall notice that to master a lexical unit pupils will have to repeat it many times orally and in written form, read it in spelling, pronounce it, etc. Thus they will develop not only the lexical competence but they will develop the four language skills reading, writing, listening and speaking skills which will come in integrated form. The integration of language skills determines the success of developing the lexical competence. This is what the present paper is devoted to.
