In addition to the traditional agents of socialisation - family, school and work - responsibility for the increased frequency of deviant behaviour is increasingly being attributed to other factors, such as the formation of youth gangs, the characteristics of certain clubs, the hostility exuded by big cities - in short, the capitalist consumer society.According to these arguments, it becomes necessary to clarify certain notions and concepts, fundamental for those who work in this area. We structure our strategy through a brief glossary that intends nothing more than to prevent, in the simplest possible way, anomalous situations of proximity between concepts that we use daily. That is why we limit ourselves to delimit them, giving them specific and proper connotations, as is evident, for example, in the cases of approaches that require special terminology in terms of legislation or a compendium. Only in this way is it possible to advance short definitions for large issues.
