Die englische Limited Liability Partnership (LLP) kann für in Deutschland niedergelassene Rechtsanwälte eine attraktive Alternative sein. Die Arbeit untersucht die in der Praxis für solche Anwalts-LLPs relevanten berufs-, haftungs-, gesellschafts- und registerrechtlichen Fragen aus internationalprivatrechtlicher und europarechtlicher Perspektive und vergleicht funktional die LLP mit Partnerschaft und GmbH. Insbesondere erörtert die Autorin die Haftung der LLP-Gesellschafter für Berufsfehler sowie die Frage, welche Normen der BRAO Anwendung finden. Die kollisionsrechtlichen Methoden der Substitution und der Anpassung werden diskutiert. De lege ferenda wird eine Neuregelung für das Kollisionsrecht vorgeschlagen.
