Publicado con motivo del estudio técnico y la restauración de La Anunciación de Fra Angelico llevados a cabo para la exposición Fra Angelico y los inicios del Renacimiento en Florencia, celebrada en el Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, entre el 28 de mayo y el 15 de septiembre de 2019. This book has been published on the occasion of the technical study and conservation of the Annunciation Altarpiece by Fra Angelico undertaken for the exhibition Fra Angelico and the Rise of the Florentine Renaissance, held at the Museo Nacional del Prado, Madrid, from May 28 to September 15, 2019. La restauración, realizada por Almudena Sánchez en el Taller de Restauración del Museo Nacional del Prado, ha tenido como principal objetivo la recuperación del rico y brillante colorido, así como la intensa luz blanca que envuelve la escena, elementos característicos de esta pintura, y que estaban velados bajo las capas de suciedad y polución acumulados en la superficie por el paso del tiempo.
