Interagency integration and information sharing are clearly high priority goals for governments to provide better services to their citizens. The ability of local government agencies to effectively utilize technologies to share information with state agencies constitutes a critical element in nationwide information sharing efforts. This book provides a theoretical discussion and an empirical investigation of the factors that influence local agency electronic information sharing with state agencies. The study leverages a two-staged research design, which includes an in-depth case study and a survey.
