Jackpot takes place in 2025 London, where nine players arrive in a warehouse to play a game to win £1million. The players sleep and eat together for days and until the game is over. To play the game, players press a button on a non-standard fruit machine fixed in the corner of the warehouse. When the reels on the machine have stopped, the result determines what happens next.
