In Leon Ferrari. Obras 1976-2008 (Leon Ferrari. Works 1976-2008) we can find a selection of his heliographies and drawings, as well as collages from the Nosotros no sabiamos, Nunca mas, L'Osservatore Romano and Relecturas de la Biblia series, where he fiercely criticises Argentinean dictatorship, politics, and religion amongst other topics. It also includes a section featuring his latest works, which, spanning the period between 2004 and the present, includes his polyurethane sculptures. Clearly, his works bring together implacable denouncement and the most joyous of beauties -they take us from bliss to anguish, from joy to fury. This book contains texts by Andrea Guinta and Liliana Pineiro, curators specialised in the artist, as well as writings by Nestor Garcia Canclini, a renowned researcher. It also features an interview with Ferrari by Adriana Malvido, who conversed with the artist in 1982 on the occasion of his first exhibition in the Carrillo Gil Art Museum. The final part of the book presents a selection of texts by Ferrari himself. The artist's writings surprise us for their wit, irony, and undeniable beauty. This entire publication evidences the reason why the Jury at the 52nd Venice Film Festival awarded Ferrari the Golden Lion in late 2007.
