This book provides a holistic view on wind turbine and wind farm design. An objective of the EU Strategic Energy Technology (SET) Plan on wind energy is to reduce cost of energy by improving the reliability of wind turbines and their components as well as optimizing operation and maintenance (O&M) strategies with the objective to enhance the competitiveness of wind energy.
