Renfield (Hoult) is an assistant to Count Dracula (Cage), who has bestowed Renfield with incredible powers and immortality in exchange for his loyalty as his familiar. Renfield, however, is becoming disillusioned with his subservient life, especially being made to capture and kill innocent people to provide Dracula with nourishment.
