Book synopsis

Almost one year after the 13th edition of the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space, a publication has been released dedicated to the SharedSpace: Music Weather Politics project with a particular look at the latest PQ exhibition. Each of the essays, written by foremost professionals in the field of scenography, such as Irena Šentevska, Peter Crawley, Vojtěch Poláček, Rachel Hann, Sodja Lotker, Joslin McKinney, Sigrid Merx and others, presents a highly particular and personal “take” on the highly diverse constellations of PQ 2015 events. At the same time the book defines some of its key concerns, innovative approaches, questions, and challenges as well as the nature and considerations of scenography and theatre in the present moment.
