All surviving intelligences could then occupy this simulated reality while the universe continues towards its inevitable 'Heat Death'. There is a problem: The simulation keeps failing. If it cannot be fixed, all of existence will quietly slip away as the energy of the universe dwindles to nothing. Omega is the amalgamated intelligence that created the program.
