Im Juni 2002 reiste Reinhard Staubach mit Verwandten nach Polen. Er berichtet über die Reise und seine Kindheit in dem unter polnischer Verwaltung stehenden Hinterpommern. In Starnitz fanden sich seine Eltern. Dort endete 1945 für die Mitreisenden die Flucht vor der Roten Armee. Rathsdamnitz, Stolp, Stolpmünde, Mützenow, Kosemühl, Braunsberg und natürlich Starnitz standen im Mittelpunkt der Reise. Aber auch Frauenburg, Danzig, Karthaus und Hela wurden von der elfköpfigen Gruppe besucht. Ein Reisebericht mit historischem Rückblick und 60 Fotos.
