Most algorithms around for residue error control focused on single residue digit error correction because of the considerations of large memory requirement and computational inefficiency for multiple errors correction methods. It is against this problem that this research seeks to explore residue arithmetics in a bid to find an algorithm that will be suitable for an arbitrary number of residue digits errors control -detection and correction- and in an efficient manner too. The algorithm developed here could be used for an arbitrary number of residue digit error corrections.
