Despite what we might think living in a world filled with Covid, cancer, famine and obesity heart disease remains the number-one killer in the world. There continue to be huge investments in advanced medical procedures and more and more powerful pharmaceutical drugs, but the rate of heart disease continues to rise. As a type 1 diabetic, Dr Stephen Hussey had always known that he was at two to four times greater risk of developing heart disease.
