This study was conducted to find out the temporal patterning of self confidence, somatic anxiety and cognitive anxiety among male atheletes of three individual sports (swimming, track and field, gymnastics) and three team sports (volleyball,football,basketball).At the end it was found that different type of pattern can be seen from the data of different games, but the common thing is that in all sports self confidence detoriating gradually,as the competition comes close and the level of somatic and cognitive anxiety increases before competition. The most significant changes can be seen in individual sports rather than team sports.
