Vincent Mercury has been living a life of peace since he left the Marines. However, his peace comes to an abrupt end at the very moment the first pod lands and completely obliterates a nearby city. With his best friend and Army Veteran, Greg Benson, better known as Ed, they decide they cannot turn their backs to the chaos. Against their better judgement, they rush into the destroyed area.
