Two years after Danny’s release from Folsom Prison, his chains were broken. Danny says “I’ve had my Chains Broken, I’ve been set free. Now I have something to live for. Jesus Christ can change a person inside and out.” Danny and his wife have been together for forty some years now, and she wrote this book as the Holy Spirit led her. Who else could tell us the true feeling of Danny, but his wife, after all these years of living with him day after day for all those years! Berta has written another book called “Dangerous Dan,” and is also a minister along with her husband. Together they have ministered mostly to the less-fortunate families and homeless for over 37 years, although Danny has been asked to speak on television, radio, churches, and a host of different places. Today, even though they are retired, they still minister to all the people God puts in front of them. Their statement is “we will continue to be His servants and yours, until God calls us home.”
