For twelve-year-old Adam Murphy and Nate Delaney, Dobrev's Carnival World was the best day out with its ghost train and dodgem cars, but not everyone felt the same. For decades, Carnival owner Rayco, and his wife Gerta the fortune teller, ran a successful business but as the new estate expanded, a resident group led by Alex Armstrong wanted it gone. Rayco had a dream to leave a lasting legacy and worked with Adam's grandmother, Audrey, with a view to giving the land to the community. His son, Gerry, has other plans and they didn't involve charity.
