The importance of properly integrating CALL into EFL §programs and monitoring its effects on teaching and §learning has been noted by numerous researchers. §However, an exhaustive search for studies on the §effects of CALL implementation in the Middle East §produced only a handful of reports on the use of §computers by Saudi university faculty members--none §directly concerned with the use of CALL in EFL §instruction.
