The huge amount of data over the Web offers numerouspossibilities to bridge the digital gap between the people workingin heterogeneous contextual settings, such as the different socialcontexts, interaction devices, personal capabilities andpreferences. It would be unwise to ignore the importance of therecently emerging activity based Web for all types of users, andits relationship with the Knowledge Management. Such anadvancement, namely the Connecting Ontology for connecting theheterogeneous information domains, is presented in this book. Anumber of scenarios are presented where the approach could beusefully applied for the benefit of all types of users.
