Fritz Dorfmann was simply a good soldier trying to serve his country during World War II. Taken prisoner early in the war, he's shipped to a POW camp in America where he discovers things he never expected to find. Along the way, he finds love-- and peril. A war time prisoner normally spends his entire time in captivity planning an escape. Fritz finds that he is forced to make an entirely different and unforeseen choice.
