Advances in the functionalization nanomaterials, which enable the tuning of material properties for specific applications, have resulted in their utilization in electrochemical sensing.  Functionalized nanomaterial-based Electrochemical Sensors provides a comprehensive overview of the materials, functionalized interfaces, fabrication strategies and application areas. Special attention is made to consideration of the remaining challenges and opportunities to the commercial realization of functionalized nanomaterial-based electrochemical sensors. Recent advances in the use of nanomaterials in electrodes for electrochemical sensing is described in detail. An assortment of nanomaterials has been investigated for their incorporation into electrochemical sensors.
