As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic and the range of measurestaken by various governments, large parts of society were almostbrought to a standstill in 2020. Even the religious services of churchesand other religions could only be celebrated, if at all, underconditions that were previously unimaginable.These circumstances raise questions in the area of Liturgical Studiesas a theological discipline.
