There's nothing ordinary about self-proclaimed horror gore splatter metal band Grotesque Malaise. Formed by brothers, the only survivors of a massacre, they're performing for their army of rabid fans deep within the heart of a carnival Fearhouse. Something strange is happening at Terration High's after school detention. Only the metalhead students are in attendance, and there's a reason for it. Halloween is usually the night Rusty and Stephen head out to check out bands. Unfortunately, there's nothing like that on tonight. Savage just wants a good night out. Defending hapless souls from predators isn't exactly his first choice of activity, but he does it anyway. His actions haven't gone unnoticed. And soon enough he's going to be embroiled in a world of brutality and ultra-violence where bloodshed is celebrated, and death is king.
