Lamont 'Hood' Mason is a fearless twenty-year-old gangsta, born and raised in the projects of Brooklyn. But cutting hair isn't the only thing that Fat Daddy has going on - he also trades stolen goods in the back of the shop and washes drug money for the notoriously brutal kingpin named Chaos. When Fat Daddy's gambling habit puts Jacqui's life in danger, Hood tries to work off Fat Daddy's debts for him. Chaos sends Hood to deal with a beef he's been having with rival dealers, but things go horribly wrong. The fallout from this fateful night includes arrests, lockups, and deaths. Hood sees his world turned upside down and is forced to pick up the shattered pieces, one by one.
