Anotácia knihy

The study of mixed convection flow of an electrically conducting fluid has diverse applications in many industrial and technological problems such as boundary layer control in aerodynamics, next generation solar film collector, heat exchange technology design and so on. The growing problems in industries and engineering requires the study of heat and mass transfer in the presence of different physical geometries and thermo-physical conditions. This book, therefore, deals with the magnetohydrodynamic mixed convection flow of Newtonian and micropolar fluids past a vertical wedge which is kept in a fluctuating free stream, temperature and species concentration. The problems have been solved numerically by using straight forward finite difference method as well as series expansion method for low frequency range and asymptotic method for high frequency range. The asymptotic analysis might be useful for researchers working in the field of mathematics and engineering while the results could be used for the development of new technology.
