This is a text book for all graduate students, specialized on any environmental issues, who wish to obtain physics fundamentals that are requested in various science and engineering fields. This book provides the structural concept of System State Equation and its dynamics, which can be applicable to numerical solutions on several important topics such as; heat & mass transfer and fluid dynamics. As the first step, it starts with describing how we solve a linear system by picking up the analysis on temperature distribution in an infinite soil as a practical example, which makes readers fully understand what time & space discretizations are, and how actual numerical solutions should work. Since the concept of System State Equation relies on Vector Matrix form, the book gives, in the following chapter, how that particular form is applicable to other practical procedures; linear multi regression analysis, least square method and so forth. The book also gives how you can solve Non-linear dynamical systems and its applications. Although this textbook somehow seems offbeat, the author does believe it would be impressive and fully helpful for a beginner who seeks a solid way to understand the basis of mathematics and physics for any environmental problems.
