The most versatile form of clean energy resource is solar and wind energy. Though there are other form of renewable energy do exists; the above two are considered to be the best choice because of its abundant availability, easy to convert, hazard free nature, and zero cost. Both these energy resources posses the potential to handle the energy threat created by huge energy demand. By keep in mind of this in this authors have worked on various maximum power point tracking techniques to extract the maximum power from the solar PV and developed technique is compared with various conventional MPPT techniques.
