The Tanakh, was written in Hebrew (with the exception of a few passages which are written in the Bible in Aramaic. Christians argue that both the Old and New Testaments are inspired by the Holy Spirit, according to many Christians shown that many promises and prophecies of the Old Testament are fulfilled and therefore a new era has entered herein. The early Church had no Bible other than the Old Testament, to which both Jesus and the apostles mentioned in the Greek translation. Christ identified himself in the Gospels with the "Son of Man" and "Servant" who renewed the covenant with God, with references to passages in the Old Testament. Thus the Hebrew Bible became a new book.
