In Russia, the§Soviet regime established a highly effective system§of standardized education that extended across the§country, and continues today in a modified form. With§fewer variables affecting student success, Russia§is a great natural laboratory for such research. This§study, conducted in collaboration with§the Dean and Philological Faculty at Northern§International University in Magadan, explores the§relationship between personality type and success for§students of English in the Russian Far East.
