They unexpectedly become fast friends and soon find themselves taking in the charms of Spain together, each offering glimpses into their closely-held pasts. When the woman leads Robert on an extended road trip to see what are believed to be magical prehistoric carvings in the mountains of southern Spain, secrets are revealed and the woman asks Robert to help her with a dramatic and illegal act, one she believes is the only way she can face an inescapable future.
