As she looked out the window on a beautiful day dawning, Allison Parker couldn't believe the day ahead of her. The skies were blue with only a trace of clouds; the sun was shining brightly on a wondrous Indian Summer day. It was the kind of day you'd love to call in sick, like Ferris Bueller did, and do all those things that your normal everyday life didn't allow you. It wasn't a day you wanted to attend a funeral.
