This consortium has emerged as an essential tool to provide current information and also helps to libraries in collection development, preservation and fast retrieval of information. The study reveals that any services of the library must meet the needs of users and it is identified that Current Awareness Service & UGC-INFONET programme service are more useful for their study and research work in order to meet their academic needs.The libraries should provide the efficient services to the users.
