This is against the backdrop of events as we know them. D-Day happens on 6th June 1944, although the storm that strikes weeks later is not natural but the result of Luftwaffe elemental magic. History continues as we know it through deception and distraction. The narrative ends with the start of a Cold War and glimpses of what is to come.
