My book is about my first love. It deals with growth and grief, guilt and courage. My words follow me along the path as I try to find my way through the chaos of questions and answers. It is written very differently than my other stories because it is my own. I am a hopeless romatic who hasn't had her first kiss yet, who has never been loved by a boy before, who loves painfully open and yet in secrecy. But above all, it is about August. My August. My love.A love letter began writing itself on a summer day seven years ago, I have just come to pick up the words that have been following me since then. This book is not about getting over someone you love- it is about finding your courage to tell them how you feel, to not have regrets, to trust your heart.
