Under the tutelage of Celeste Kendell, Garrick Aldridge and Corey Wakefield form Auricularis, a singing and songwriting duo. They travel to England as paid performers on a cruise liner. She suggests he return to his home in Croakwood, New South Wales. He meets Jenny Watts for the first time at the family Angus cattle property, Glenwood. In Hollywood, Corey falls into the traps and temptations of Tinseltown, with devastating consequences.

What follows is a story of regret, rehabilitation, revivals, records, and rapprochement, and reinforces the theme that everyone goes home in the end!
