This book presents recent advances in computational cameras and holographic display frameworks, encompassing algorithms, devices, and systems. In the context of optical imaging systems, comprising camera calibration for 3D imaging, computational imaging algorithms and compressive-sensing 3D cameras, the authors introduce general principles and also demonstrate: integration of full-link visual sensing for three-dimensional information; full-link imaging methods using the optical modulation transfer function to improve imaging quality in the computational camera; and new geometrical calibration methods for photogrammetry applications.
