Mindanao has been a site of Bangsamoro people\\\'santi-colonial struggle since the Spanish colonization in the 16thcentury. In this monograph, Janet and Mary Ann Arnado examine thecontinuing violent conflict in Mindanao within the framework ofglobal competition for natural resources, and investigate theimpact of this conflict on the internally displaced population.
