With no other path calling, Nevaeh boards a train, hope­ful that this stranger might help her make sense of the chaos within.Stepping off the train, she finds J waiting, his smile warm and strangely familiar, like a friend she hasn't met yet. He's not what she expected-sharp-eyed, radiating calm, and driving a classic Rolls Royce that speaks of a "sage with style." They drive to his lakeside home, a place brimming with books and artifacts from around the world. As they settle by the water, Nevaeh lets it all spill out-her search for identity, the tug-of-war between her mind and emotions.
