The International Yearbook Brands & Communication Design presents a new editorial concept with the 2022/2023 edition: In addition to the award-winning works of the competition, it focuses on the best designers and agencies. In meaty interviews, they report on their communication strategies as well as on the challenges facing the industry today and in the future. MetaDesign, the Red Dot: Agency of the Year 2022, is presented in detail in an essay. The award-winning projects of students and universities also find a place in the established publication. The two volumes of the yearbook are thus not only a competition documentation, but also present the status quo of the design industry and provide insights into creative strategies of successful brands:Volume 1 is dedicated to the award-winning works and up-and-coming projects in the fields of Brands, Corporate Design & Identity, Brand Design & Identity, Annual Reports, Publishing & Print Media, Typography and Packaging Design. The respective jurors are presented in words and pictures as well as with a personal assessment of the current development in their field. Volume 2 presents the prize winners and award-winning works in the categories Advertising, Illustrations, Posters, Fair Stands & Spatial Communication, Retail Design, Digital Solutions, Online, Apps, Interface & User Experience Design, Sound Design, Film & Animation. Here, too, the portrayed jurors shed light on the status quo of the respective design genre in a statement.
