Anotácia knihy

May and Pammy are two young girls from very different backgrounds. After surviving the Plymouth Blitz, at the end of World War II, they find themselves at the same Convent school where the orphaned May is the only boarder in the care of the nuns. May's French background puts her in a position to help Pammy with her lessons.
