The manual content is therefore concentrated summary of all what would enable to consider the sources of harmful impurities in the air-streams of mine and other underground workings, the explosive properties of mine dust, the laws of airflow and distribution in the mines and the problems of gas and dust dynamics in the mines, in the designing and management of the ventilation systems of underground and surface mines.
