Anotácia knihy

The Mist fell six years ago. Magic came back with it.

Armageddon started, and then it stopped. Nobody agrees on why. Everybody agrees on what came through the tear. Gods, demons, spirits, and neighbors you do not invite in twice. Three nations stand where the United States used to be, and none of them are safe for people like you.

You play the ones living in the cracks. A witch. A druid. A shaman. A wizard. A voodoo priest. Outcasts who found each other because nobody else would have them.

Built on Tags

Every person, weapon, spell and street corner in Mistfall carries Tags, and every Tag is a lever you can pull. Say what you are doing and say it well, and the dice follow. A new player understands it inside one scene. A Narrator gets a system that answers questions instead of one that needs a ruling.

Inside the book

• Seven heritages. Human, Nephilim, Cambion, Fae Hybrid, Gnome, Fomorian and Dweorg.
• Seven classes. Druid, Wizard, Witch, Shaman, Warlock, Voodoo Priest and Vessel.
• Six attributes, from Physicality and Dexterity through Soul, Influence and Affluence.
• Magic as cantrips, wards, charms and rituals, driven by affinity rather than a spell list.
• Seventy adversaries, every faction ranked as Minions, Rivals and Heroic.
• A full chapter on running the game, and a Session Zero that builds your campaign out of the nemeses your players invent.
• Sixteen chapters across more than four hundred pages, in full colour, at 8.25 by 11 inches.

A world that was already written

Mistfall is set in the Baku-verse of the novels. The same Portland. The same Boston. The same things in the mist between them. You can play it knowing none of that, or you can hand your table a shelf of books that tell them what happened first.

The world already ended once. What happens next is yours.

Set in the Baku-verse of author Reed Logan Westgate.
