His name was Lonnie Siegel, but he was known by others.

Lonnie was born into an aristocratic German family and orphaned during an allied bombing raid over Dresden. Shuttled from one caretaker to the next, he was ultimately taken in by an elderly first-generation immigrant family-a family that wanted nothing more than to be left alone.
